Rev. L. Jack Glasgow

Jack Glasgow has served in ministry for forty-eight years. For forty four years he was on the ministry staff of Zebulon Baptist Church in Zebulon, serving as Senior Pastor for more than forty years. After retiring from Zebulon Baptist he has served as Interim Pastor at Oakmont Baptist in Greenville and Westwood Baptist in Cary before coming to Longview. Jack has served as Moderator of both the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship Global and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of North Carolina. Jack is a native of Atlanta, Georgia and is a graduate of both Georgia Tech and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Barbara, who serves as Minister of Music and Senior Adults at Zebulon Baptist, have a daughter, son and three grandsons.
Rev. Abram Buckner

Abram Buckner serves as the Associate Minister of Youth and Virtual Ministry. He is married to Mable who is working to earn her BS in Nursing at Duke University. Abram earned his BA in Christian Studies in 2018 from Campbell University and then graduated in 2021 from Campbell University Divinity School with his M.Div. He has a love of working with youth and enjoys guiding/encouraging students along their faith journeys. Mable and Abram recently welcomed their new son Simon into their world and treasure time with him, as well as enjoy spending time with friends playing board games and cooking dinner together.
Rev. Garner Keel

Garner Keel has served as Longview’s Minister of Music for the past 33 years. He graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Music Education Degree, and also received a Master of Church Music Degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, in Louisville, Ky. Garner’s Music Ministry includes directing the Adult Choir, Adult Handbell Choir, Congregational Singing, and various small performance ensembles. Garner is now enjoying his retirement from North Carolina Farm Bureau Insurance Company where he worked as an Agent for 25 years. Garner has been married to Carrie for 50 years and they have 3 children and 8 grandchildren. Garner treasures his time with his family, loves trips to the beach and the mountains, and in his spare time enjoys working in his Koi Pond and working on small stained glass projects.
Allison Given

Allison Given has served as the Preschool and Children’s Ministry Coordinator since September of 2014. She grew up in Raleigh and graduated from North Carolina State University with a BA in English Literature. She is mom to three girls, Rhyan, Reaghan, and Reese. Allison loves working with the children of Longview, and hopes that she is helping to plant seeds that will grow into long and loving relationships with Christ. In her spare time, Allison loves to play tennis and travel to the beach with her family.
Kim Hill

Kim has been the Administrative Secretary at Longview since October of 1989. Kim is a Raleigh native and also a lifelong member of Longview. Over the years she has been involved in many activities throughout the church. Kim is married to Joe Hill and they have one daughter, Ashton and two grandchildren, Parker and Bennett. Kim enjoys spending as much time as she can in Oriental, NC with her two grandchildren.
Judy Parrott
Organist
Judy Parrott has served as Longview’s Church Organist since 2005. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Education from Virginia Intermont College in Bristol, VA where she had the opportunity to study under concert organist Stephen Hamilton who has long been prominent on the American organ scene. Judy is the owner of Silver Expressions in Raleigh. She is married to Steve Parrott and they have two married children and five grandchildren.
Pam Carroll
Pianist
Pam Carroll is the pianist at Longview. She moved from Fayetteville, NC to Raleigh in 2000. Pam received her BS degree in Music Education with a concentration in keyboard from UNC – Pembroke. She is married to Curtis Carroll and the mother to four children, and grandmother to five.
