Ministries at Longview Baptist Church
Our church offers a vibrant range of ministries for all ages, including offerings for Senior Adults, Youth, and Children. We partner with a Hispanic church and a Montagnard church on Sunday mornings to offering a diverse worship experience. Our Children's Ministry hosts an annual Vacation Bible School each summer, and Sunday School is offered every week. Together, we create a welcoming, multi-generational environment where everyone can grow in faith and community.
Music Director Search
Longview Baptist Church in Raleigh is seeking a part-time music director. The music ministry at Longview Baptist Church is dedicated to inspiring and uplifting the entire congregation, from the young to the young at heart. We consider the music ministry to be one of the strongest areas of the ministry in the church. Longview has approximately 30 choir members, two accompanists with over 20 years of faithful service, and a passion for traditional music. We seek a candidate with strong conducting and leadership skills to provide trained leadership and oversight of our music ministry. WEATHER / CANCELLATION POLICY
“In cases of inclement weather, the pastor in consultation with the ministerial staff and Chairperson of the Deacons may cancel services. As a general rule, if Wake County Public Schools are closed or close early due to inclement weather, or if Wake County Public Schools’ afternoon or evening activities are cancelled due to inclement weather, the church will be closed.”
